CUPPING THERAPY GLASGOW

Dry cupping therapy in Glasgow — what you should know

Round marks on athletes’ backs made cupping famous worldwide. What does the treatment actually involve?

How cupping works

Cups create suction that gently lifts the skin and tissue. They can stay still or glide over oiled skin.

Why do marks appear?

Round red or purple marks may appear afterwards. They usually fade within a few days, so plan ahead if you have an important event.

Contraindications

Cupping is not suitable if you take blood thinners, have skin conditions in the area, are pregnant or have a fever. We go through everything before your session.
